Knowing myself to be ignorant, I remember the son of the wind, Hanuman. O Lord, bless me with strength, wisdom, and knowledge and remove all my impurities and sorrows.

Jai Hanuman gyan gun sagar, Jai Kapis tihun lok ujagar, Ram doot atulit bal dhama, Anjani putra Pawan sut nama.

Hail Hanuman, the ocean of knowledge and virtues. Hail the chief of the monkeys who enlightens the three worlds. You are the messenger of Lord Rama, possessing incomparable strength, and known as the son of Anjana and the wind-god.

Mahabir Bikram Bajrangi, Kumati nivar sumati Ke Sangi, Kanchan varan viraj subesa, Kanan Kundal Kunchit Kesa.

You are the great warrior with a powerful body and the unvanquished one. You destroy the evil-minded and associate with the wise. Your golden complexion is radiant and you wear beautiful clothes. You have earrings in your ears and your hair is curly.

Hath Bajra Aur Dhvaja Biraje, Kandhe moonj janehu sajai, Sankar suvan Kesari Nandan, Tej prataap maha jag vandan.

You hold a mace and a flag in your hands, and wear a sacred thread made of Munja grass on your shoulder. You are the son of Kesari and the beloved of Lord Shiva. Your radiance and glory are revered throughout the universe.

Vidyavaan guni ati chatur, Ram kaj karibe ko aatur, Prabhu charitra sunibe ko rasiya, Ram Lakhan Sita man Basiya.

You are the most learned, virtuous, and wise one. You are always eager to serve Lord Rama. You delight in listening to the stories of the Lord and His divine incarnations, and reside in the hearts of Ram, Lakshman, and Sita.

Sukshma roop dhari Siyahi dikhava, Vikat roop dhari lank jarava, Bhima roop dhari asur sanhare, Ramachandra ke kaj sanvare.

You showed a subtle form to Sita, and took on a monstrous form to burn the city of Lanka. You took on a terrifying form to destroy the demons, and carried out all tasks assigned by Lord Rama.

Laaye Sanjivan Lakhan Jiyaye, Shri Raghuvir Harashi ur laye, Raghupati Kinhi Bahut Badaai, Tum mama priya Bharatahi Sam Bhai.

You brought the Sanjeevani herb to revive Lakshman and made Lord Rama immensely happy. Lord Rama praised you and declared you to be greater than all the rulers of the world. You are my dear friend and brother, just like Bharata.

Sahas badan tumharo yash gaave,

Asa kahi Shripati Kanth lagaave.

The praises of your great deeds are sung throughout the world. Lord Rama himself has said that he who chants your name with devotion and love will receive His blessings.

Sankadhik Brahmadi Muneesa, Narad Sarad sahit Aheesa, Yam Kuber Digpal Jahan te, Kavi kovid kahi sake kahan te.

Sages and great scholars like Sanaka, Sanandana, Narada, Saraswati, and Lord Shiva himself, along with Yamraj, Kuber, and the guardians of the four directions, all praise your virtues and sing your glories.

Tum Upkar Sugrivahin keenha, Ram milaye rajpad deenha, Tumharo mantra Vibhishan mana, Lankeshwar Bhaye Sub jag jana.

You have done a great favor to Sugriva by helping him to meet Lord Rama and become the king of the monkeys. Your advice was accepted by Vibhishan, and he became the ruler of Lanka, which is known to all.

Jug sahastra jojan par Bhanu, Leelyo tahi madhur phal janu, Prabhu mudrika meli mukh mahee, Jaladhi langhi gaye achraj nahee.

You leaped across the ocean, which is thousands of miles wide, as easily as the sun travels through the sky. You tasted the sweet fruit in Lanka and brought it back to Lord Rama. He embraced you and placed His ring on your finger. You then crossed the ocean without any difficulty, astonishing everyone who witnessed it.

Durgaam kaj jagat ke jete, Sugam anugraha tumhre tete, Ram dware tum rakhvare, Hoat na agya binu paisare.

You can accomplish the most difficult tasks in the world, and all your blessings are easily obtained. You are the guardian of Lord Rama's door, and no one can enter without your permission.

Sab sukh Lahae tumhari sarna, Tum rakshak kaahu ko dar na, Aapan tej samharo aapai, Teenon lok hank te kaapai.

Those who seek refuge in you attain all happiness, and no one fears any danger under your protection. You can control your own energy and reduce the pride of anyone in the three worlds.

Bhoot pisach Nikat nahin aavai, Mahavir jab naam sunavai, Nase rog harai sab peera, Japat nirantar Hanumant beera.

No ghosts or evil spirits can come near a person who chants your name with devotion and courage. All diseases and pains are eradicated, and one becomes strong and fearless by constantly reciting your name, O Hanuman.

Sankat se Hanuman chudavai, Man Karam Vachan dyan jo lavai, Sab par Ram tapasvee raja, Tin ke kaaj sakal Tum saja.

Hanuman can free us from all difficulties, and we should always remember him with our mind, actions, and speech. Lord Rama, the king of all sages and ascetics, has entrusted all his work to you.

Aur manorath jo koi lavai, Sohi amit jeevan phal pavai, Charon Yug partap tumhara, Hai persidh jagat ujiyara.

Those who come to you with any desire attain the infinite fruit of eternal life. Your glory is renowned throughout all the four ages, and you have illuminated the entire world with your divine radiance.

Sadhu Sant ke tum Rakhvare, Asur nikandan Ram dulare, Ashta-sidhi nav nidhi ke dhata, Us var deen Janki mata.

You protect the saints and sages, and you are dear to Lord Rama, who destroyed the demons. You possess the eight supernatural powers and the nine treasures, and you granted them to Mother Sita's husband.

Ram rasayan tumhare pasa, Sada raho Raghupati ke dasa.

You have the nectar-like devotion for Lord Rama, and you always remain his loyal servant.

Tumhare bhajan Ram ko pavai, Janam janam ke dukh bisravai.

By chanting your name, one attains Lord Rama and is freed from all the sufferings of life, birth after birth.

Anta kaal Raghubar pur jayee, Jahan janam Hari-Bakht Kahayee.

At the end of one's life, one goes to Lord Rama's abode, where one is called a devotee of Hari.
